I was so excited when I got a chance to try out Panko Bread Crumbs! I went straight to Progressofoods.com and checked out all the neat new recipes and I decided to try my hand at my first go at homemade mashed potatoes....on Christmas day no less!
Michael Chiarello´s Mashed Potato Gratin was super easy to make (with the peeling and dicing help of my daughters!) and WAY YUMMY! Though my mashed potatoes don't look as good as the pic on the website! The Panko bread crumbs gave the mashed potatoes a great different texture and an extra boost of taste....there were none left by the end of lunch!
